Overview
The purpose of the NAADD Earl Edwards Minority Student-Athlete Development Program is to identify talented and driven minority collegiate student-athletes on our campuses and expose them to the field of athletics development. By identifying these individuals while in school and working with them to explain our field, the hope is to increase the pipeline of minority student-athletes in the athletics development job industry.
Goal
The goal of the program is to identify 4-6 student-athletes on each participating campus. Candidates will be identified with the help of administrators, SAAC, coaches, and professors. Ideal candidates will be minority student-athletes who have been identified as an exceptional teammate that has an interest in learning more about athletics development and potentially gaining employment within the field.
*This program is best suited for those graduating this year or next*
