National Association of Athletic Development Directors

2025 NAADD Awards Nominations Now Available

The NAADD Executive Committee is now accepting nominations for its Lifetime Achievement, Jason Galaska Rising Star, and Fundraiser of the Year Awards. The Fundraiser of the Year Award will recognize recipients from both the college and university divisions.

The awards' criteria are listed below:
Fundraiser of the Year Award: CLICK HERE for Submission Form

  • There are two categories for submission:
    • University (Group of 5/ Power 5 Institutions)
    • College (FCS, I-AAA, D2, D3, NAIA, JC/CC)
  • Nominee must have demonstrated significant achievement in athletics fundraising.
  • The accomplishments of the nominee should recognize achievements in the current year, as well as over the professional career of the individual.
  • Nominee must be the head of athletics fundraising at the institution.
  • Nominee MUST BE a current NAADD member.
  • Athletics Directors are not eligible for this award.
  • NAADD Executive Committee Members are not eligible for this award.
  • Nominator must submit a letter of support from the Athletics Director with their application
Jason Galaska Rising Star Award: CLICK HERE for Submission Form
  • Nominee must have worked in athletics fundraising for no less than one year and has no more than five years of experience (1-5 years of experience).
  • Eligible nominee can work in any area of athletics fundraising including annual giving, stewardship and/or events, gift processing, capital projects, major gifts.
  • Nominee should have a well-rounded body of work as demonstrated by their nominator(s).
  • Nominee MUST BE a current NAADD Member.
  • Athletics Directors are not eligible for this award.
  • NAADD Executive Committee members are not eligible for this award.
  • Nominator must submit a letter of support from the supervisor of the nominee with their application
Lifetime Achievement Award: CLICK HERE for Submission Form
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in athletics development.
  • Must have served as head of athletics fundraising at some point in career.
  • Must have contributed positively to NAADD and participated in developing others in this profession.
  • This committee considers recommendations submitted by the NAADD membership at large, though they are not obligated to pick an award recipient from among the recommendations.

All nomination forms must be submitted to the NACDA office by Friday, December 13, 2024.
