CLEVELAND – The Collegiate Event and Facility Management Association (CEFMA) is now accepting applications for the 2025 Katie Hein Leadership Stipend Program.

In its 2nd year, the program, named after NACDA Senior Vice President Katie Hein, is designed to provide opportunities for CEFMA members to attend the Annual Convention.

Katie served as the NACDA staff liaison to CEFMA for the last 15 years (2007-2022) and has been instrumental in guiding the Association since its inception, serving as a strong advocate for the personal and professional development of event and facility managers across the country.

The deadline to apply for the stipend is Friday, January 17. Applicants must be current CEFMA dues paying members to be considered. The grant will provide recipients with the funds for registration and hotel expenses to attend the 17th Annual CEFMA Convention, June 8-11 at the World Center Marriott Resort in Orlando, FL.

Applications will be evaluated based upon the information submitted, and stipends will be awarded with sensitivity toward balanced representation in a number of categories including, but not limited to, ethnicity, gender, division, past Convention attendance, length of membership, length of service within the collegiate events and facility industry, and financial need.

Information on the 2025 Convention as it becomes available can be found HERE. CEFMA programming will begin late afternoon on Sunday, June 8 and will conclude midday on Wednesday, June 12.
