CLEVELAND – The National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals (N4A) is proud to unveil its bold and visionary Strategic Plan, a comprehensive roadmap designed to guide our organization's future and advance the mission of supporting student-athletes and empowering members to achieve excellence.
 
This strategic plan is not just a framework; it is a call to action. It challenges us to lead purposefully, advocate with conviction, and collaborate with intention at institutional, conference, and national levels. Our mission is clear: to advance student-athletes' success and empower our members to achieve excellence in every facet of their work.

First and foremost, we want to thank our wonderful consultant and strategic planning leaders Heather Ould, Stephen Darville (Boston College) and the Executive Board, Board of Directors, and committees for their leadership and dedication throughout this process. Their commitment to crafting a strategic vision rooted in our shared values has been nothing short of extraordinary.

The plan focuses on four key priorities that will shape the direction of N4A:

1. Student-Athlete Support and Success
   At the core of N4A is our commitment to student-athletes. We will enhance programs and initiatives that empower them to excel academically, athletically, and personally, ensuring their success on and off the field.
2. Member Engagement
   We are dedicated to fostering professional growth and collaboration among our members. Through innovative professional development opportunities, networking, and mentoring, we will continue to elevate our community's experience and expertise.
3. External Relations
   Advocacy and outreach are critical to our mission. We will strengthen our voice and influence with institutional leaders, conferences, and national organizations, ensuring that the perspectives of N4A and its members are integral to shaping the future of intercollegiate athletics.
4. Internal Operations
   To sustain our mission, we will invest in the infrastructure and processes that enable N4A to operate effectively. This includes optimizing resources, enhancing communication, and ensuring organizational sustainability.

A Commitment to Accountability
To ensure the success of the Strategic Plan, each priority area is paired with measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that will be regularly tracked and reviewed. This accountability ensures that N4A remains focused and transparent in achieving its goals.
